- The entire hotel and restaurant take advantage of natural lighting, with glazed walls and open, well-ventilated environments, thus reducing the use of electric light and air conditioning;
- We use low energy consumption electronic equipment;
- The apartments are equipped with electricity savers;
- We recycle all waste generated within the hotel and restaurant;
Sustainable Use of Electrical Energy
- We have a solar energy capture plant using photovoltaic panels, which meets around 70% of the entire energy demand of the hotel and restaurant;
- Our water heating system is made using the Ecolog Bioenergia system, a 100% ecological system, using wooden pallets;
- We use energy-saving light bulbs throughout the hotel and restaurant, with presence sensors in all corridors;
- We monitor our electricity and water consumption every fortnight, to optimize and maintain savings resources;
Sustainable Use of Water
- We reuse rainwater in a cistern system to flush 20% of the bathrooms, irrigate the gardens and clean internal and external areas;
- Showers and taps are equipped with aerators, providing greater savings with good water flow;
- The guest chooses whether to have towels changed daily or not, and thus contribute to saving water and consequently chemical products;
